arkuatWhy is the United Church of Christ currently under more vigorous investigation by the IRS with regard to its tax-exempt status than the Church of Scientology is?
Or would someone care to give me glad and reliable news that the Church of Scientology is, in fact, under more vigorous investigation with regard to its tax-exempt status than the United Church of Christ is?
I could just close my eyes in contempt of all the churches of the Cosmos Allah bequeathed us with, and sing along with Frank Zappa "Tax the churches!" Please, Caesar, tax our Quaker meetings too! Anything to get these televangelists and the ridiculous political problems they arouse off the backs of us people who live under this ridiculous and indelible Constitution of the United States of America.
So, UCC? Scientologists? Whose new parish church would you most or least welcome on your block?
